Lorenzo Durán Charris
Lorenzo joined the Greene Wealth Management team in 2025, after completing an internship in 2023. He graduated with high honors from Michigan State University as an international student, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with minors in Mathematics, Data Science, and Data Analytics. As part of the Honors College, the Social Science Scholars, and the Econ Scholars programs at MSU, he has a broad range of experience in conducting rigorous, quantitative, and insightful research.
During his studies at MSU, Lorenzo worked with professors in Geography, History, Sociology, Psychology, and Economics. His work included studying the history of slavery, assessing the mental health benefits of exposure to green spaces, and developing statistical models to evaluate access to safe water across the United States. Lorenzo was also a member of the MSU Fed Challenge team, presenting monetary policy proposals to members of the Federal Reserve, reaching the semifinals in 2023.
Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Lorenzo natively speaks Spanish, is fluent in English, and studied Mandarin for 8 years. He is passionate about traveling, literature, and music.
